This collection illustrates how Ulman's Instagram performance was turned into a web archive.
During the performance, the artist used three different avatar images and bio information in her Instagram profile. For the preservation action, these persona were put in place on Instagram again, an the relevant parts of the account being recorded. The last avatar photo is empty, revealing that the activity was staged.
Click on an avatar photo to view an archive of the Instagram account with that persona being active:

The collection consists of four recording sessions, each corresponding to the photos posted by each persona, plus one recording with common user Interface elements that Instagram uses ("heart" icons or button graphics).
**The [online exhibition version](http://webenact.rhizome.org/excellences-and-perfections)** on Rhizome's [Webenact](http://webenact.rhizome.org/) server was modified to contain contemporaneous emoji, mute links that would allow to leave the artwork's boundary, and to not display items that have been posted before the performance started.
This famous tweet by UK politician Ed Balls has many dedicated admirers, who celebrate *Ed Balls Day* every year on April 28.
The tweet was captured on Ed Balls' last day as a member of the British Parliament, showing him in formal attire on his profile photo.

In August 2016, Steph Davidson published a call for the annual Net Art Micro Micro Grant. My proposal was accepted, and after overcoming many hurdles (like venmo not being available in Europe), I delivered just in time!
It was a ride I can tell you, but absolutely worth it. The things I have learned along the way might serve as valuable lesson for future honorees: Be bold, do things that scare you, always stay on budget!
USA Today's *The Wall* is a complex journalism project reporting from the border in between the USA and Mexico, using classic articles, video features, podcasts and virtual reality, connected via contextual navigation and an annotated map, accessible on multiple platforms.
This Webrecorder archive contains the website with all its embedded media and interactive features, with the exception of helicopter aerial footage of the complete border: URLs that would start the video at a certain point are derived map coordinates; these coordinates are dependent on too many variables, like the map's zoom level, to comprehensively archive at the moment.
The VR part has not been archived as it is not accessible on the web.
Any links leading outside of the project, for example to the USA Today main site, have not been included.
V4ULT is a curatorial platform initiated by Anna Mikkola and Hanna Nilsson in 2013. Taking place in various built environments, in book form, and online, the project has been described as an "interface" through which people, ideas and artworks move.
This archive contains both "episodes" of the project's web site, documenting projects in between 2013 and 2015.
